Cameroon,Algeria And Ghana National Teams Look Like To Miss Out On Next Russian's World Cup...

 Due to the high quality of the five qualifying groups, three top African sides who have starred at previous tournaments look set to miss out on next summer's World Cup.

Cameroon

The 'indomitable lions' featured at this summer's Confederations Cup after winning the last installment of the African Nations' Cup, but barring a miracle they will not feature at the World Cup. They are in the same group as Nigeria, Zambia and Algeria and ifnd themselves in second last place with 2 points. Group leaders Nigeria have 7 meaning that one more win for them in the last three games will make qualification impossible for Cameroon. The 'indomitable lions' must hope that Nigeria lose all their games and make sure that they win all theirs.

                                                                        Algeria

Algeria are in the same group as Cameroon but their qualification is even more complicated. The likes of Mahrez, Slimani, Brahimi and Feghouli look like they will be watching the World Cup on TV, with them needing to win all of their remaining games, Nigeria to lose all their games and Zambia and Cameroon to draw the remaining game.

                                                                            Ghana

It doesn't seem long since Ghana made it to the World Cup quarter finals. They won't be repeating that feat in Russia though. They sit on two points in their group, trailing in the wake of Uganda (7 points) and Egypt (6 points). Ghana would have to win all their remaining games and hope that Uganda and Egypt draw the game that remains which will be very difficult for  them.
