MANCHESTER UNITED FANS REACTED TO JESSE LINGARD PERFOMANCE AGAINST EVERTON…

19 September 2017’
Manchester United maintained their impressive start to the season as they beat Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday to go joint-top of the Premier League standings with rivals Manchester City, but Red Devils fans were not impressed with Jesse Lingard’s performance.

Despite Antonio Valencia giving Jose Mourinho’s side an early lead with a thunderous strike, the hosts struggled to find a second goal as the Merseyside outfit started to come back into the clash and the Portuguese boss decided to introduce Jerse Lingard from the substitutes’ bench on the hour-mark.
While the 24-year-old set Romelu Lukaku up for the third goal and was unlucky not to win a penalty himself, he still appears to be struggling to win over some of the Old Trafford faithful.
Manchester United supporters were quick to have their say on his performance via social media, and while some described him as “useless”, others said that watching him play is “so painful”

what about your opinion…

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MAN UTD vs EVERTON YESTERDAY

18 September 2017.
It was an afternoon to forget for Wayne Rooney who was given a legendary reception back to Old Trafford as United opened scoring via a thunderstorm kick from Captain Valencia to give United the lead as early as the 3rd minute of the game.
After the goal, United midfield went into lull as Everton dominated proceedings with Tom Davies and another United ex-player Morgan Schnerderlin showed flashes of brilliance while were appalling going forward as Rashford and Mkhitaryan were very sloppy all through the first half.
The Toffees picked up from where they left off in the 2nd Half threatening the defence of United and it was almost looking like the Toffees were going to draw level but United goalkeeper David De Gea showed his class.
In the last 10 minutes of the game United ran riot...
84' minutes Mkhitaryan scores the second goal for United and in 90’ minutes Lukaku scores third goal against his former club. At “injury time” 90+2 minutes Anthony Martial scores the fourth and final goal of the match from sport kick.
And these are five things that you should know:
1. United are yet to concede a goal at Old Trafford so far this season.
2. Jose has finally beaten Ronald Koeman for the first time in his managerial career.
3. Romelu Lukaku has now scored 7 goals in 7 matches so far this season.
4. United has scored 16 goals and conceded only 2 and recorded 4 clean sheets in 5 leagues matches.
5. United goes joint top as they outclassed the Toffees yesterday.

Over 129 year record broken by EPL team…

16 September 2017.
No team has ever lost their first five games in a top-flight season without scoring a goal, until Today...
Following their 1-0 defeat at home to Southampton on Saturday, Crystal Palace became the first team in top-flight history to lose their opening five games without even managing a goal.
It is certainly an unwanted record which Roy Hodgson has broken in his first game in charge at Selhurst Park.
The first four losses were overseen by Frank De Boer, but after the poor start to the season, Crystal Palace decided to part with the Dutch boss after just 77 days in charge.
Roy Hodgson took over earlier this week but he wasn't able to have the instant impact he would have liked, as Palace were beaten once again by Southampton on his first game in charge.

The former England boss will be hoping to turn things around as quickly as possible before he breaks any more unwanted records at his boyhood club.

Jugen Klopp’s side held to a draw at Anfield in opening Champions League match

13 September 2017,

Liverpool were made to pay for passing up a host of opportunities, including a first-half Roberto Firmino penalty, as Joaquín Correa snatched a 2-2 draw for a persistent Sevilla at Anfield.
The home side suffered an early setback when Sergio Escudero crossed for Wissam Ben Yedder to convert but levelled in the 21st minute when the outstanding Alberto Moreno exchanged passes before cutting the ball back for Firmino to tap in.
Liverpool should have put the contest to bed in the remainder of the first half but only had one more goal to show for their dominance. Mohamed Salah's deflected 37th-minute effort gave them the lead but Firmino's unsuccessful penalty, which clipped the post, turned out to be pivotal.
Sevilla regained their composure after the interval and snatched a point when substitute Luis Muriel found Correa, who neatly sorted out his feet and swept the equaliser past Loris Karius. Liverpool had Joe Gomez sent off in added time as Muriel nearly fired a Sevilla winner during a frantic finish.
Key player: Alberto Moreno (Liverpool)

This was not the result Liverpool had been hoping for on their return to the UEFA Champions League group stage, but there were plenty of positives from the hosts' perspective. The heavy defeat by Manchester City last Saturday does not seem to have dented their confidence, and Philippe Coutinho's first appearance of the campaign was a welcome sight for fans of a Liverpool persuasion. However, if Firmino had converted his first-half spot kick, Jürgen Klopp's charges would surely have gone on to win the game.
